doortap Terms of Service

Welcome to doortap. doortap is a live-event ticketing platform that connects event Organizers, performing Bands, and ticket Buyers. By creating an account or purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

doortap operates a marketplace that lets Organizers publish events, lets Bands attach to those events and claim attribution and revenue shares, and lets Buyers purchase, transfer, and resell tickets. doortap is not the producer of any event listed on the platform.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for safeguarding your credentials.

3. Organizer obligations

Organizers warrant that they have the legal authority to sell tickets to the events they list, that all event information is accurate, and that any cancellation, refund, or rescheduling will be communicated to Buyers without undue delay. Organizers are responsible for honoring the tickets sold through doortap.

4. Band obligations

Bands listed on an event must keep their attribution data (lineup, set order, profile, payout details) accurate and current. Bands authorize doortap to display this information to Buyers and to allocate revenue shares according to the splits configured with the Organizer.

5. Buyer rights and ticket use

Tickets purchased through doortap grant entry under the rules set by the Organizer and the venue. Tickets may be transferred to another doortap account or resold through the doortap resale marketplace, subject to any caps or restrictions imposed by the Organizer or by applicable law. Tickets sold or transferred outside the platform may be invalidated.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a ticket you agree to Stripe's terms in addition to ours. doortap charges service fees that are disclosed at checkout. Payouts to Organizers and Bands are made through Stripe Connect on the schedule disclosed in your account settings.

7. Refunds

Refunds for cancelled or materially changed events are issued by the Organizer through doortap and returned via the original payment method. Service fees may be non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Prohibited conduct

You may not use doortap to commit fraud, scalp tickets in violation of applicable law, misrepresent an event or a Band, scrape the platform, or interfere with its operation.

9. Disputes and termination

doortap may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Disputes will be resolved under the laws of the jurisdiction stated in your account's billing address, subject to any mandatory consumer protections.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-product and will require re-acceptance before continued use of doortap.
