doortap Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how doortap collects, uses, and shares personal data about Organizers, Bands, and Buyers who use the platform. It is written to satisfy our obligations under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and similar laws.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, password hash, profile, role (Organizer, Band, Buyer).
• Event and ticketing data: events you create, attend, transfer, or resell; seat assignments; entry scans.
• Payment data: Stripe customer and Connect account identifiers, payout details, transaction history. Full card numbers are handled by Stripe and are not stored by doortap.
• Band attribution data: lineup, set order, profile content, and revenue-split configuration.
• Device and usage data: IP address, browser, pages visited, actions taken in the app.

2. How we use it

We use your data to operate the platform, deliver tickets, process payments and payouts, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and improve doortap. We do not sell personal data.

3. Sharing

We share data with Organizers and Bands for the events you interact with (for example, an Organizer sees the Buyers attending its event), with Stripe to process payments, with infrastructure providers under contract, and with authorities when required by law.

4. Your rights

Under GDPR and CCPA you have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may exercise these rights from your account settings or by emailing privacy@doortap.events. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

5. Retention

Account and transaction data is retained for as long as your account is active and for the period required by tax, accounting, and anti-fraud laws after closure.

6. International transfers

doortap may transfer personal data outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
