doortap Cookie Policy

doortap uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the platform, authenticate Organizers, Bands, and Buyers, and — only with your consent — to measure how the product is used. We do not load analytics or marketing technologies until you allow them.

1. Your choices

The first time you visit doortap we show a cookie banner with three options: Accept all, Reject non-essential, and Manage preferences. The preferences panel lets you turn individual categories on or off. Strictly necessary cookies are always on; analytics and marketing are off until you opt in. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie and remembered for up to a year.

2. Strictly necessary cookies (always on)

These cookies are required for doortap to function and cannot be turned off. They include the session cookies issued by our authentication provider, Clerk, that keep you signed in, cookies used to maintain your shopping cart and apply referral codes, the cookie that records your consent choice, and protections against cross-site request forgery.

3. Analytics & performance (consent required)

When you allow this category, we load PostHog for product analytics and session diagnostics (with input masking for sensitive fields) and Sentry for error and performance monitoring, and we collect anonymous page-performance (Core Web Vitals) samples. These help us understand usage and fix problems. None of these load before you opt in.

4. Marketing (consent required)

When you allow this category, we may use cookies to measure marketing campaigns and show you more relevant offers. doortap does not currently set marketing cookies, but this control governs them if we add any.

5. Third parties

Stripe sets cookies on its hosted checkout and dashboard pages to prevent fraud. Clerk sets cookies to manage your sign-in session. Both are strictly necessary and subject to their own cookie policies.

6. Updates

We will update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies. Material changes will be announced in-product.
